Course Focus|From "understanding" to "true creation and performance," build comprehensive musical skills spanning performance, theory, improvisation, and production. Don't just learn to play, but also learn to think, express, and complete works.
▌Self-Introduction
Hello, I'm Jenn Hsieh.
I graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production. I am a musician who performs, composes, arranges, and produces music, and I have many years of experience teaching guitar and piano.
I love transforming seemingly complex musical concepts into something "understandable, actionable, and practically applicable in music." Whether you're just starting your musical journey, or you already have a foundational understanding of an instrument and want to delve deeper into harmony, improvisation, composition, recording, arranging, and mixing, I will tailor the most suitable learning path to your current skill level and goals.
In addition to teaching, I've also been actively involved in performances and productions for a long time. These firsthand practical experiences allow me to provide students with a more comprehensive musical perspective in class. I believe music is not just a skill, but a way to understand the world and express oneself.
