Everyday footsteps, traffic sounds, phone rings – they are all extensions of rhythm. Jazz drumming is not just about striking; it's an art of mastering time and groove.Drumming may seem complex, but with systematic instruction, hand-foot coordination, accurate timing, and rhythmic groove can all be built step by step!

This course will introduce you to basic drum patterns and physical coordination, from limb independence to overall coordination. Through learning, you will be able to solidly support various musical styles and experience the immense pleasure of crisp drumming.

Course Information

• Four 50-minute lessons per session
• Enrollment open year-round
• Class format: Individual / Small group (students form their own groups
• First-time students should enroll in the beginner course; advanced courses will be determined based on student progress and instructor assessment.)

• Ages 6 to adult
• Those who love strong rhythms, grooves, and enjoy drum sounds
• Those who aspire to play a key role in a band
• Beginners with no prior musical experience are welcome

Course Content and Features

1. Customized according to skill level, gradually building rhythm, coordination, and feel.
2. Strengthening hand drumming techniques, drumstick control, and stability training.
3. Comprehensively improving playing ability, from basic rhythms to song performance.
4. Emphasizing hand-foot coordination training, rhythm development, and mastering rhythmic variations and applications in different musical styles (e.g., rock, jazz, funk).
