▌Self-Introduction
Hello, I'm Jenn Hsieh.I graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production. I am a musician who performs, composes, arranges, and produces music, and I have many years of experience teaching guitar and piano.
I love transforming seemingly complex musical concepts into something "understandable, actionable, and practically applicable in music." Whether you're just starting your musical journey, or you already have a foundational understanding of an instrument and want to delve deeper into harmony, improvisation, composition, recording, arranging, and mixing, I will tailor the most suitable learning path to your current skill level and goals.
In addition to teaching, I've also been actively involved in performances and productions for a long time. These firsthand practical experiences allow me to provide students with a more comprehensive musical perspective in class. I believe music is not just a skill, but a way to understand the world and express oneself.

Street Performance | Huang Yi × Parkland
Early January · Xinyi District, Taipei · Parkland Music Taiwan
Early January
Parkland collaborated with street artist Huang Yi from Hualien
to perform in Taipei's Xinyi District.
The weather wasn't on our side,
cold and rainy,
but it didn't become a reason to leave.
During the three-hour live performance,
from Cantonese songs, European and American pop, to metal,
the drum kit held the rhythm steadily.
The entire street was slowly drawn into the music.
We were fortunate not to have given up because of the weather that day,
and fortunate that music always brings perfect encounters.
During the performance,
a passing bassist from Hong Kong joined in.
Without rehearsal,
they immediately jammed to a song called Hysteria.
It only happened once that day,
but it will be remembered for a long time.

Drum Hang | Venue Sponsorship
Parkland Music Taiwan
Perhaps hosting this gathering
is truly just for exchange,
to meet like-minded people,
to listen to each other,
why they started drumming,
how they got to where they are now,
talk about equipment,
play a few beats.
Slowly, you'll remember
what sounds he prefers.
Parkland provides this space.
Drum Hang is not just an event,
but the beginning for drummers to get to know each other.
Next time we jam or work together,
seeing familiar faces,
adds a sense of familiarity,
and a few more drum bros whose names we can call.

Venue Sponsorship | Tom Bourgeois Composition Masterclass
2025.11.01 · Parkland Music Taiwan
Parkland's classrooms were handed over to Vestige for three days,
for a composition masterclass organized by teacher Tsai Wen-hui
and led by teacher Tom Bourgeois,
where students advanced their respective creations.
In this collaboration, we provided a focused space
for everyone to discuss, brainstorm, and present their ideas with various instruments.
Some images were captured during the process,
recording the rhythm of these three days
and the time this space has held.
We look forward to more creators nurturing their works here in the future,
and immersing themselves in this space with confidence.

Over the past few years, I have worked as a singing teacher at Hwakang Arts School and ThisBall Music, accumulating extensive teaching experience from elementary school children to retirees. In addition to teaching, I have continuously performed on stage: I performed at the National Concert Hall with the YMCA Sacred Music Choir and won a silver medal at the Pattaya International Choral Festival. ▌Classroom Style
I believe a good singing lesson should make students "truly understand what they are doing."In class, I will clearly break down seemingly abstract concepts in singing, so you know why, how to do it, and how to sound even better at each step.
My top priority is to create a relaxed and safe atmosphere for students to learn. I like to use down-to-earth, intuitive methods to help everyone find their voice. The process is stress-free, and you won't get confused by complex theories. Everyone's voice is unique, and I adjust my teaching pace according to each student's needs, breaking down abstract and difficult concepts into easily digestible parts, allowing you to truly feel progress in a relaxed practice environment.
