Tired of dull music theory? Our Pop Piano course focuses on "learn and apply," allowing you to quickly grasp chord concepts, accompaniment textures, and improvisation techniques. No extensive classical foundation is needed. Through simplified staff notation or chord charts, whether you want to play your idol's songs, sing and play simultaneously, or create background music for short videos, pop piano makes it intuitive.

Chords, rhythm patterns, and accompaniment methods are like a language; once you understand the logic, you can combine them freely. You'll be able to accompany yourself or a singer, effortlessly play popular songs, and make the piano your most intimate musical partner.

Course Information

• Four classes per session, 50 minutes each
• Enrollment open year-round
• Class format: Individual / Small group (must form your own group)
• First-time students should register for beginner classes; advanced classes will be determined based on student progress and instructor assessment.

Suitable For

• Ages 6 and up to adults
• Those who enjoy pop songs, singing and playing, and want to play covers

• No prior piano experience is required

Course Content and Features

1. Build chord, rhythm, and accompaniment logic from scratch
2. Learn common piano accompaniment methods
3. Chord application, simplified notation/C major/transposition techniques
4. Arrange repertoire according to students' preferred genres, so every class allows playing desired songs
5. Gradually introduce improvisation and arrangement concepts for more flexible and free playing
