Bass Guitar Lessons

The bassist is the most understated yet crucial member of the band, acting as the bridge between rhythm and harmony. This course will train your rhythmic stability, note selection, and playing techniques such as muting and slapping. By learning bass, you will be able to accurately grasp the groove, perfectly complement the drummer, and bring a solid low-frequency charm to the music.

Course Information

• Four 50-minute lessons per session
• Enrollment open year-round
• Class format: Individual / Small group (must form your own group
• First-time students should enroll in beginner courses; advanced courses will be determined based on student progress and instructor assessment)

Suitable for

• Ages 6 and up
• Those who want to join a band but don't know which instrument to choose
• Those who enjoy grooves, rhythm, and thick low frequencies
• Beginners are welcome

Course Content and Features

1. Introduction to scales, fingering, right-hand plucking, and basic left-hand fretting techniques
2. Learning to build rhythmic stability and a sense of groove
3. Song-oriented teaching, experiencing everything from pop and rock to R&B
4. Advanced techniques may include walking bass, slap, and improvisation
