Stainless Steel Jumbo Frets: This is its most impressive upgrade. Most guitars in the ten-thousand-dollar range typically use traditional nickel frets, which wear down and indent over time. The GS-2DX comes standard with stainless steel frets, which not only are virtually wear-resistant but also feature a Jumbo size for incredibly smooth bending and vibrato. The tone also becomes brighter with longer sustain.

Heel-cut / Heel-less Design for Upper Fret Access: Traditional Strat necks have a thick, square block where they join the body, often obstructing the left hand when playing in the upper registers. This guitar features an ergonomically thinned and rounded heel cut at the neck joint (the four-screw bolt-on area), allowing your left hand fingers to effortlessly reach the 22nd fret without obstruction.

Independent Coil Tap Mini Switch: The humbucker's coil-splitting function is engaged via a separate "mini metal toggle switch" on the body, rather than by pulling the tone knob. This allows for a more intuitive and rapid switch between "thick humbucker distortion" and "crisp single-coil clean tone" with just one finger during stage performances.

Side Jack and G-STUDIO Compact Body: Traditional Strats have their cable jack on the front of the body (a slanted jack plate). This model uses a side jack, commonly found on high-end modern guitars, which prevents the cable from swinging around excessively during dynamic stage performances. The body shape also inherits from the Japanese handcrafted "G-STUDIO" series, making it thinner and more form-fitting than a standard Strat.
