▌About Me
I'm Ting-Chieh (TJ), a drum instructor who emphasizes fundamentals and musical understanding. Learning drums isn't just about playing rhythms; it's about knowing what you're practicing and why, making every practice meaningful.
In teaching, I prioritize establishing correct concepts and basic techniques, because skills can improve gradually, but learning incorrectly from the start will be harder to correct later. Rhythm is more than just hand movements; I also guide students to understand rhythm by "singing" it, cultivating a sense of rhythm and musicality.
Whether you're a child, a beginner, or an adult with some foundation, I will adjust my teaching approach according to your situation, helping you progress steadily and find the sense of accomplishment and joy in drumming.

Pan Chen-wei|Saxophone Teacher
Styles|Pop, Jazz, Funk, FusionCourse Focus|A saxophone course centered on jazz, incorporating pop sensibilities, from basic vocalization to improvisational concepts, helping students develop practical playing skills.
▌About Me
Hello!
I'm Chen-Wei Pan, a saxophonist and educator whose work is centered on jazz with pop as an extension. I excel at freely switching between melody and rhythm on the saxophone and have participated in various live performances and collaborations with different ensembles. To me, the saxophone is not just about accumulating techniques and scales, but an instrument that can "speak." I love to explore how melodies breathe, how rhythms propel music forward, and I'm skilled at transforming seemingly complex jazz concepts into an understanding that students can immediately apply to their playing.
Whether you're picking up the saxophone for the first time or have been playing for a while and feel stuck, I hope to help you play with a steadier and more directed sound, gradually finding your own tone and voice.
